Interesting how many people have managed to get here via tags and searches even though I haven’t let anybody know about this blog yet, as I am still in the building phase. Anyway, thanks for stopping by

I just finished with posting my ‘picks for grown ups’ section from my other blog, http://www.sunnykidstyle.com so there are already some entries available here. Of course I adapted them if necessary, so they are of interest to people that care more about interior design than children.

My daily posting is just about to get started and I will start spreading the word about this blog, as soon as I can figure out a proper name and logo! I think the current version looks really dull. My initial idea was to change the coloring a bit from my SunnyKidstyle logo, but to keep it essentially unchanged so it is more recognizable. However I don’t quite like the result I have come up with. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to comment.

And of course also if you have any other ideas about his blog. I’d be really pleased to receive some feedback from you, whether positive or negative.

Now to my third reason for asking you to comment, and why this blog is still not ‘officially’ launched: I cannot decide on a name! I know, this sounds terrible, as my wordpress address already exists. But as I am about to switch from wordpress.com to wordpress.org with both my blogs, I do need a new URL. I had intended to name this new creation www.sunnyhomestyle.com, just to match www.sunnykidstyle.com Unfortunately, before registering for this blog, I had not noticed that my desired address is already taken by an Egyption real estate. And now I’m desperately in need of good ideas! So if you have a suggestion, please tell me

Thank you so much for stopping by at my newest blog, SunnyHomestyle!

After the success of SunnyKidstyle , my other design blog about everything stylish for kids, I had the great idea to create another design blog about home decor. When doing research for SunnyKidstyle, I found so many great items aimed at adults that I thought it would be a shame not to share them with you. After all, I am enjoying my little blog so much, why not add a second one? Twice the fun with two blogs!

To begin with though, I will start slowly by first incorporating some items already presented at Sunnykidstyle, from the ‘picks for grown-ups category. Currently I am busy reworking these entrys to tailor them to my new audience. But I hope to have finished by tomorrow or the day after, and then SunnyHomestyle will really kick off! Just as with Sunnykidstyle, I plan on adding some great design ideas on a daily basis. Though I suppose I won’t be able to add 3 items per day as I do for SunnyKidstyle. But my goal is to publish at least one pick per day, and if I have time, even more.
